Gerard Paris is a backend engineer with over 15 years of experience building scalable systems across edtech, gaming, and research. Currently at Preply, he works with AI-driven teams focused on empowering tutors and personalizing the learning journey. Prior to that, Gerard has contributed to EU R&D projects, led backend development at startups, and taught Java programming at the university level.
